Set over the course of a single evening in a city restaurant, Salmon with Asparagus follows Ethan and Mia, a long-term couple sharing what appears to be an ordinary dinner. Beneath the familiar routines and casual conversation, tension simmers. When Mia reveals she has accepted a career-defining transfer overseas, the meal becomes a turning point, exposing the quiet dissatisfaction and unresolved fractures in their relationship.
As Ethan struggles to hold onto the life they have built together, the restaurant begins to shift into an unsettling psychological space where memory, fear, and denial collide. Past arguments resurface, reality fractures, and the weight of loss becomes unavoidable. By the end of the night, Ethan is left alone at the table, confronted with the painful understanding that love cannot be preserved through resistance—and that sometimes letting go is the only act of acceptance.
